Safe Environment Training
The Diocese of Phoenix is committed to protecting children, youth, young and vulnerable adults. To ensure the safety and well-being of all parishioners and participants in our ministries and programs, St. Rose Philippine Duchesne complies with the following Diocese of Phoenix requirements for all volunteers who work with children:
- All clergy, employees, and volunteers working directly with children (supervisory / chaperone) are required to attend Safe Environment Training.
- All clergy, employees, and volunteers who provide ministerial service in private homes, work in food pantries and provide meal service are required to attend Safe Environment Training.
- All NEW volunteers will be required to take a Safe Environment Training Foundation Class prior to service. ALL volunteers are required to renew their Safe Environment Training ANNUALLY.
