Religious Education Adult Opportunities

Our Catholic Community of St. Rose and The Mission of the Good Shepherd offers a number of opportunities for faith formation and spiritual enrichment.

Just Faith

Just Faith is a 4 phase, 6 sessions per phase, adult formation program that offers an opportunity for Parishioners to experience a journey into compassion. Just Faith is an educational experience, a formation process and a spiritual journey. Participants gather weekly for prayer, discussion of books and videos, presentations by guest speakers, retreats and immersion experiences. The intent is to provide learning opportunities that emphasize and enliven the gospel based justice tradition of the Church.

The Catholic Campaign for Human Development, along with Catholic Charities and Catholic Relief Services, have partnered with Just Faith to provide this adult program that inspires compassion and transforms the world through love and service. The program starts in late September and runs through May. The groups determine the time of the meetings.

Men's & Women's Retreats

Men's and Women's Retreats are offered annually. Times, dates, locations and themes are advertised through the Parish Bulletin and e-mails. Adult Formation events are also found on the Parish Calendar.

Adult Bible Study

Adult Bible Studies are formed and held in the parish rooms or in the homes of parishioners. St. Rose offers of number of opportunities and programs for scripture studies or spiritual enrichment. We are always encouraging new groups. We can provide resources and support. Please call Sally if you are interested in finding a group or starting one.
