Welcoming Committee

Volunteering to serve on the Welcoming Committee is a great way to get to know other people and requires only the time individual members are able to give.

Committee members extend a warm welcome and friendship to new parishioners by hosting 5 – 6 Welcome Receptions each year. Reception duties include set up, clean up and providing food and beverages. Committee members are also responsible for displaying our new parishioners pictures in the vestibule of the Spirituality Center. Occasionally phone calls may need to be made.

Throughout the year assistance is needed in assembling Welcome Folders that are given to the new Parishioners at the Receptions and also made available in the Spirituality Center’s vestibule for anyone interested in learning more about our St. Rose Catholic Community.

If meeting new people and helping them feel comfortable in a new environment is something you enjoy, we invite you to join our Committee.
