Ministry Volunteer Requirements

Our Catholic Community of St. Rose Philippine Duchesne and the Mission of the Good Shepherd has many volunteer opportunities, including those that work with Adults and Children, social ministries and special events committees, along with Liturgical ministries. Our most important "requirement" for serving and volunteering at our Parish is that the person be willing and able to give of their time.

Most of our ministries offer "on the job" training, and some like our Liturgical ministries have scheduled training dates periodically throughout the year so that volunteers can begin working in their chosen ministry immediately.

Volunteers are required to register with the parish, so if you have not already done so, please complete a parish registration form or register online.

The Diocese of Phoenix requires its Parishes volunteers to attend Safe Environment Training prior to serving in ministry. These sessions are offered periodically at our Parish and at all Parishes in the Diocese.
