Sacristans supervise the set-up for Mass and arrive 60 minutes prior to Mass to ensure that everything is ready for the celebration, including:
- all sacred vessels,
- liturgical books, and
- supplies.
Sacristans also check to make sure that all liturgical ministries are covered for the Mass and that the number of hosts in the Tabernacle is made known to the Usher.
If you are detail-oriented and organized, we welcome you to become a Sacristan at our Catholic Community of St. Rose and The Mission of the Good Shepherd.
